The Affliction I Suffer From & What I’ve Done About It

Helllooooo Friend!!
The month of April felt like I was body surfing a huuuuuge wave – which was both exhilarating and terrifying.  And May is proving to be more of the same.
At the end of April I decided I was going to do things differently. You see, I have a bit of a “Yes, I can/will/have-to do everything” affliction.  So, instead of trying to do ALL the freaking things, I’d focus on just a few that felt exciting to me.
My focus for May is being consistent with my social media posting, recording podcasts and my fitness/health regimen.
The results for the first week:
– I’ve lost 3 pounds 2 ounces – despite the ridiculous amount of burritos I ate on Cinco De Mayo.
– My social media followers across all platforms have increased by quite a few!
– Engagement has increased a lot.
– Views have increased significantly and people are sharing and saving posts.
– Traffic to my websites and podcast downloads have increased as a result.
– And, I made a sale or two!
All this to say that if you suffer from the same affliction as I do, I hope this encourages you to change things up and see what happens.
I shared this reel on the socials and recommend you read the caption …

ps. If you’re worried that saying no or not yet to the other things is going to be difficult, if you really focus on what you’re going to go all in on, you’ll see that there simply isn’t time. Plus, you’ll be too pooped 😆
