Have you ever woken up and wondered what the point of all this is for? And by “all of this”, I mean life.
And you say to yourself, “If only I had more money, more time, less responsibility, fewer commitments – I’d do things differently … I’d live differently.”
Same 🙋🏻
It’s interesting how our default seems to be that we “live” life avoiding loss.
We don’t make a move in case we lose the job/place/person/thing – even when those things aren’t making us happy.
But what’s the point in not realizing our loss if avoiding it is going to make us miserable and cost us everything in the end anyway?
What’s the point in having the facade of a great life if we don’t actually have a great life? Why not give away the semblances of happiness and prosperity and actually live a rich, joyful life?
Let’s get the ball rolling, shall we? I want you to write a letter to yourself and I want you to write it as if you’re already living the life you want to be living.
Write out ALL. THE. THINGS.
Money, business, self-care, health, relationships, fitness, adventures, philanthropic work, investments … you name it.
And then end it with “It’s wild how much can change in a year!”
Here’s to feeling alive 🍾
